The inside of the villa is done up in the style of a traditional fishing lodge, but with the most modern of amenities. A huge, open plan central living and dining area will take your breath away, with its wooden flooring, brick walls and exquisite wooden furnishings. Spacious sofas are placed on two sides of the room, in beiges and browns that suit the atmosphere perfectly. Double fireplaces add to the cosiness of the space, with an austere stag’s head mounted on the wall above them to create a real feeling of tradition and history.
Large double doors line one wall, bathing the room in light from outside and providing glorious views of the garden leading to the river. Up three steps from the living room is the open-plan dining area, also complete with its own fire place, high ceilings, and a beautiful wooden table with enough seating for the whole party. Low-hanging ceiling lights give this dining area a sultry glow that creates the perfect ambience for dinner parties, and afterwards why not head to the one-of-a-kind library, where you can fully soak up a sense of relaxation and tuck into a good book.
